The only grief I've ever had over the Trooper was from the guy on the motorbike who decided to bounce off the front of it.

Guy on Motorbike weaving in and out of traffic, overtaking on the chevrons ran into the front of me basically...
"In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship."
Yes because its a Citroen C2 VTR and therefore:
A) French
B) Small
C) a 'hot hatch' though I would say warm.
To all those things I say indeed you are correct, and got it as a bargain and it drives excellent and grips like a monkey on banana. Its also very easy to drive.
Have already had stick over next car choice because it has high emissions, I have so far given people "going out with a blast" and a gallic style shrug.
TBH I don't care if my new car has higher carbon emissions than most other cars. I do under 3000 miles a year (in fact this year it is something like 2000) as I work from home and only use my car for getting around locally and visiting family. I work hard, and if I can afford to run a big car (it's not like we don't pay tax on petrol) why shouldn't I. We're being taxed into oblivion as it is. Anyone who says I should be using public transport has obviously never tried to get a drum kit onto the tube or a bus
When I bought my Celica and first popped over to the parents house my mum called me a "boy racer" and a "chav". She really has no idea how to use the words properly..... I'd hardly think of myself as a boy racer, let alone a f***ing chav!
Apart from that new car = new fun!
Used to get stick for my first car, was a ford fiesta and there was a great debate whether it was blue or purple!

The most usual forms of stick that I get are, why are you driving an estate? wtf why a 1.8. then the major one is ppl going on and on saying think of your carbon footprint etc, wat with it being all wheel drive.
I say to them **** off its my choice, and its such a good car to drive
What have you got thats a 1.8, 4Wd, an estate and fun to drive?
