Re: Ever gotten grief over your car?

I used to get loads of grief from my gf (now wife) for my Renault 5 GT Turbo

Not the fact it was a Renault 5, just the fact that the electric windows would always stop working in hot weather

She stopped complaining about the windows when I part exchanged it for a Lotus Elise but moaned because she wanted to get married at the time and I said I didn't have enought money

I always get the bumpy complaints, but I take it as a compliment. None of this ladies, soft suspension malarky!

Re: Ever gotten grief over your car?

Usual complaints are that it's common and it's a Ford. The thing that always baffles me is that they're never made by people with cars that are even vaguely rare.

I get grief of a few people for having a hair dressers car.

Imported MK2.5 Mazda Roadster. Its a none standard car though with brace bars, K&N, rear spolier, special edition seats and door cards and loads of other cool stuff
