Do Mercedes make the ugliest new cars these days?

The Mercedes GLK (thankfully not coming to the UK) is SO ugly:

Obviously they make some nice cars, but is it just me, or is the R-class completely hideous (picture here: link), and the new C-class, the grill is just TOO big for the car...

No its not just you, I also dont like it.

But you will find people will still buy it because after all its still a Mercedes Benz. Put a ford badge on it and you probably wont find one on the road.

(No offence to ford owners, ford do make some good cars )

Looks kinda like the sort of car that would appeal to folk that think Escalades and Hummers are stylish. Guess that's it's target market. Vulgar.

Close call betwen that and the 1 series for the ugliest car from a "prestige" brand IMO.

I do like a lot of the rest of Mercedes range though. Me love the CLS long time The SLK is nice too, and the new C is growing on me.

Just looks like a kids drawing of a Mercedes crossed with a mini bus.

That styling is popular in the US, it looks like any of the newer cadillac/dodge/chevy brigade. The Scion is hideous but, again, is popular here.

nonono.. ssangyong musso. seriously. not just from the front either, it looks so deformed from every possible angle. it will actually mess up my drive to work/home if i see one because ill be thinking about it for the rest of the trip

Yet my cousin and aunt own one EACH :/
The originally described them as 4x4's. Also note that my aunt is scared of right hand turns, so all journeys, its left only.

I appologise for going off topic.. that merc does look horrible. Cant say I like any of the other new ones, and the SLK has too much nose for my liking...
