    Re: Calibra Progress *!= 56k*

    in the doors theres no holes, the "little knobs" which hold the bump strip brackets have been ground off and the dent is being smoothed but not flattened.

    The touring car had the dents too ala...

    the front and rear bumpers will have the bump strips in obviously...

    whole thing or kit / paint?

    whole thing in the next 3 - 4 months (need to save for wheel refurb etc) but kit and paint will be done by next week.

    I never really had a thing for the Calibra, I was always a Mk3 Cav man myself, then I ended up with a Calibra Turbo that was fettled slightly and its the one car I regret getting rid of, just hope when I get the Turbo back on the road its the best of both worlds when its done.

    Someone had one when I was doing my paper round (so at least 10 years ago now) and it always caught my eye, until someone got an R33 GTR in Midnight Blue, then that got my attention.

    Looking good now the paint work is getting done

    Wow - looks very good - can they really start buffing so soon? Thought you had to wait a few days at least for the paint to harden? Or do they add some hardening stuff to the paint to speed things up?
