ooo its cool to see a sneak peak at the new bodykit in place
well not too many people interested but i shall carry on nethertheless.
Well with the move fairly imminent ive been mostly getting stuff ready to move rather than working on the car
I have got a few bits sorted today though so ill share
First off i got a knock at the door and a big box i wasn't expecting...
Wonder what that could be...
My new gold zinc coated brake discs Looking all nice and new!
No time to put them on before i move unfortuantely so i thought id get my throttle cable installed...
What a ballache of a job that is! Its like threading a donkey through the eye of a needle...
Well one rat tail from inside the car...
And a whole half hour later (with much swearing and cursing)...
It was finally in!
I quickly took the bump strips off the new bumper so i can transfer them over to the old one..
And that was about it
Now im off to tidy up and sort more stuff out for moving!
Before i go does anybody know what this is infront of the horn? Its the only lead i havent labelled which leads me to believe it wasn't plugged in in the first place...
Oh and heres a sneak peak of the preliminary designs of the decals...
More soon
Is that lead near the horn for the external temp sensor?
Not sure if the V6 had one fitted but the loom's probably there for the Turbo's as they had the sensor.
oooh shiney brake disks!
A Calibra wouldn't be my choice, but those designs do look pretty good
Im interested but don't know much about cars so not posting.
also interested, but so far have had nothing of any real input to add so just lurked. definetly people interested though keep going

There definitely is interest here
i am following this thread aswell, just gathering ideas for stuff i would like to do, although my stuff involves mobility scooter and bigger motors...
just not posting because i can't think of anything relevant to say..
except - i hope you're not neglecting your dog (last picture of 1/5/08 post) and when you've finished can we have a picture of you driving along with the dogs head out the window, showing how much he/she enjoys it!!
and is that lead/connector thing not for a 2nd horn? two-tone it baby! yeah... ahem.
Another silent watcher here duder - no time or space for a car project so i'm living mine out with your thread
Alright people, thats enough smoke blown up his arse
I'm still following this, I don't want to sound bad but for an old timer like me the phrase "more money than sense" comes to mind.
But if your enjoying it carry on, you've got to get it finished now.
The block connector looks like a radiator or a/c fan connector.
Bill could have a tenner and still have more money than sence
Mind you I've got a pair of Cav turbo's on the drive so I cant talk
