I'd say the 106 off that list, Handles way better than the fezza, and IMO is a lot better looking. Find a Phase 2 1.1/1.5D and they are cracking cars for silly cheap money!

The 1.25 in the Fiesta is a better engine by miles though

Would disagree there, I drove a 1.25 and it didn't impress me. If you could track down a 1.4 106 (Quiksilver and some XR/XT Models, or a Phase 1 XSi) They were sublime. Rev there heads off and go like stink.

Its just finding a combination of car and insurance I can afford really.
I've heard alot of bad things about Quinn Direct. Their price may be good but what else is it missing. Think there was a thread on here about them not so long ago, and it didn't make for good reading to be honest.
Been looking for insurance quotes today.
Been abit busy so as of now I have only looked on Moneysupermarket and gocompare, the car am looking for quotes on is a 1.1 Peugeot 106 Independence, the car was on autotrader valued at £950 (Could I get one cheaper?).
The cheapest quote from both sites is below.
Moneysupermarket: - £1282.05 from eCar
GoCompare: - £1,193.28 Express Insurance
Both quotes were the same, Third Party, No Pass pluss, same address (could use my gfs) etc etc.
Its weird, Express insurance was also on MoneySuperMarket but the quote from there was more then the quote on GoCompare which is the lowest.
Still got more insurnce companies to look at and more cars, but am getting an idea of what prices to expect.
Try changing to Comprehensive. Sometimes insurers quote more for 3rd Party rather than comprehensive for some weird reason.
Do try Prudential though! £100 quidco if it's the same as a month ago (not the £75 which Quidco says). DirectLine gave a similar quote (but no quidco) and both their questionnaires are quite quick to fill in.
Will do Smargh
Thanks
