New Elise has Toyota VVTi motor from Corolla T-Sport. 190bhp
MR2 - Turbo version with 195bhp not far off.

S2000's are VERY nice, but as I've already said - Too damn expensive.

SH Supercars just don't cut it; I like the idea of having a car thats only been thrashed by me - Although I treat my cars hard, its also done properly; Never revved hard when cold, serviced to death and always with proper stuff. With a S/H, even a low mileage jobby, you just can't be sure of who's done what with it before you got it.

Slab - Preference is towards New, Fun and RWD Volvo?

Headbrace - Capp will be tidied up and either sold or used as part ex. It'll break my heart but I've got to be realistic. If there was one car I could choose to keep forever, it would be the cappo. Sadly as they were a limited car to begin with, parts supply will get tougher and tougher.

u can get an s2000 sh for 15ish. news gonna be 27k tho and if u do decide to make my dreams come true and buy an s2000 get the mugen 1

Thing is the RX8, S2000 et all are nice, very impressive specs etc.. but they don't scream LOOK AT ME, I A BAD M********R!

They just look like any other coupe / jap convertible. I see countless S2000s and RX8s around here. I've seen 3 Clio V6's ever, and never a phase2!

When you see the car sliding sideways a silly angles it won't need to scream anything - Everyone will know it's a bad M********R!

Not, of course, that I would drive anything like that on a public road

We're talking this summer for the Elise. It's already been tested by Autocar vs the VX220 Turbo (strangely enough) and they loved both but gave the victory to the Lotus...just. Pop over sometime this week and I'll dig out the issue. The only minor prob might be price but I can't remember exactly so I'll have to double check.
The MR2 Turbo has been caught testing round that German circuit and I believe made an appreance at a recent motor show but I'd guess we're talking a year away but I'll keep my eyes peeled

Boxters are a bit common in my opinion. My brother has one and it's quick, but I'm not a huge fan of them.

I love RX8s and MR2s. S2000s look horrid though IMO
