Hi all, after little over a year of owning my BMW I got bored and decided to move on. The BMW was quiet, comfortable and understated.

My new car is none of these.













Its a 1999 UK Integra Type R DC2, almost 1 owner from new (up until feburary this year), FHSH and with only 40k on the clock. It's pretty much perfect, and I cant stop grinning when I drive it.

Unlikely in a UK Teg, its a manual.

The insurance is the same as I paid for my 318i Sport last year except I have another years no-claims. Not cheap but nothing stupid like 2k, was quite a bit less to insure than normal hot hatches and around £500 less than a EP3 CTR which I was originally looking at before deciding to go the whole hog and just get a Teg.

However insurance is the one reason I haven't posted this up sooner, I bought the car in the middle of July having done quotes for my renewal of the 1st of August, I put a deposit down then I phoned my old insurer Swiftcover to change my car for the last 2 weeks of my policy, only to be told that they don't insure Teg's at all. So I had to get my dad to drive the car back and store it in the garage for the longest 2 weeks of my life, and had the pleasure of driving my mum's diesel mondeo. whoop whoop.

My mates just bought a white JDM and it's certainly got me rethinking my next car. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the circle headlights, though they look a lot better on the black cars than the white imo.
