Its not the speed they are getting at 5lab. Sleeper cars are subtle to look at which hides the performance and the TypeR is hardly subtle looking

My own one could be classed as a sleeper if I bothered my arse to remove the boot badge. Looks like any other 5 series except for the 4.4 V8 under the bonnet

This is one BMW driver that wouldnt be scared to race the civic R

My Old rover was a bit of a street sleeper

who'd have thought a big sloppy old barge would do 0-60 in 6.5 secs

again, it's got sodding great skirts, spoilers etc all over the place.. if you took a lotus carlton, took all the skirts and crap off, made it look fairly standard, *then* you'd have a true sleeper..

but then so does a t5r. you might not notice it cos you're not familiar with them but they do. clio 172s are hardly subtle either.

Fiat Punto GT.... looks like any other Mk1 Punto:

But has a 1.4 Turbo with a quite respectable 136 bhp as standard, but easily tweaked to 160+

Merc AMG's are fairly understated...slightly more body kit, and different alloys, as well as a little lower...but not uber different to the regualr ones (well the E and C classes at least.) If you had it debagded without AMG written on the alloys/exhaust it would not be that obvious

Gotta be an Audi RS2 Avant.

Looks just like a bog standard Audi 80 Avant, only the 17" wheels and 15" disks (and the engine note) give it away. That and the fact that you can put a fridge in the back and still do skooby's, focus rs's, bishi evo's and civic type r's all day long

Thats my ultimate sleeper, and i will have one one day.

I saw a 3 litre V6 Omega tonight, reasonably quick car (though it only beat me by a car's length...) but a flippin good sleeper. I thought it was a copper at first. Totally debadged. I had to ask the guy to find out what it was!

on one of the mini forums there's a project cooper, twincharged (supercharger *and* turbo charger..), 250bhp and it's still only a prototype, they're hoping for 300+ bhp eventually

We're all waiting for the video
