    Scratch Repair

Ok so this morning I come out to find that some one has keyed my car for which "not happy" does not sum it up.

Question is how to fix it ?

Know of any mobile services that will give a quote for it ? ect ect (might turn out cheaper to get a new bonnet)

    Re: Scratch Repair

I've got a bottle of polish that matches so am going to try that first, see if i can reduce how much it shows.

Also going to get a few quotes how much to respray the bonnet over gettting a replacement to match - and then think about leaving it 6 months ( having only had the car a month and being a new driver am likely to have more prangs and the last thing i want to do is get it resprayed and then have a prang in it)

Chipsaway - ask to see their work first though.

    Re: Scratch Repair

polish it first, if its still really bad get a touch up pen and go over it and over until the scratch id filled, then polish it until its level!
