mates does 50mpg and he drives it like a lunatic.

well, he lives in Middlesborough, goes out with my sister who lives here in Wolves and works in Oxford, it does 0-60 in 13.5 seconds (this is a 1.3 diesel remember) and does over 100 mph.

ask Zak how nippy they are for a 1.3, he had/has 1

Depending on where my foot and gear lever is mine can do from 7-60mpg, that doesnt make it a good car either, just economical....

No, i just speak the truth i am afraid. No matter what car i had, i would still make fun of any Tigra. Dont care how many MPG it does, its... a Tigra, its a girls car, a hairdresser mobile, it will never be anthing else, only now theyve made the new one heavy as hell, and slow as hell.

You seem to be ignoring all the other cars I've ever poked fun at on here in the last few years (and im sure people will tell you thats quite a few cars) just to have a sneaky go at my car? Come on boy, out with it.

13.5 in a car that small? a small housing estate in wicombe could do it quicker than that tbh and a 1.1 metro can do over the ton with a following wind.

As it is its a good car for him and anyone else that wants a small city runabout, but for me (and i don't even drive properly yet) economy does not a good car make.

well....Tigra is NOT a sports model guys. Its a looker, but not a goer

a 1.8 really does fly, but its still not purchased for such things. Ditto 206 CC....its not what people buy them for.

a 1.3 CDTi would be my first choice cos frankly its a better engine than I could have hoped for. It would be as fast as a 1.4 in daily work. No doubt.

But Tigra is ained at a market place than no 200SX punter would ever look at. Its not even meant to steal deals off MX5 or MG F showrooms...its different enough to sell.

And what you must realise is

Hence me hating the poxy things. But I also hate 206 CC and I hate BMW's...so go figure
