    Petrol costs

How much do you pay per litre?

I pay 79.9P from the Tesco Express/Esso one I go to.

    Regular unleaded

Just interested to see how it varies across the country

i dont think oil will run out in the 50 years they predict....probably not in 150 years, its just an excuse to pump the price and whack on more and more tax

78.9p for unleaded, I think 82.9p for diesel right now at the garage next to my flat- it's literally 15m away, but I have to drive a 100m circuit to get there, still blimmin handy though, especially for late night munchies. Anyway they're usually about 1p a litre more expensive than a couple of other local garages I know, so I could probably get it for a bit less if I shopped around.

The Sainsburys on Greenwich Peninsula are usually at least 2p cheaper than anywhere else I've seen so I bet they have an attractive price right now! I always fill up when we go to the FilmWorks cinema there.

I thin around 85p for supermarket fuel or 90 for optimax. I am putting optimax in from now on so i can wack the boost back up but its gonna cost a fortune ive done an average of 20mpg off the last 2 tanks

If the exchange rate stays current 79.9p is about $1.60 US, per liter. So a US gallon of gas of 3.8 liters (rounded up) is about $6.08 US. Right now in Wisconsin the cost of a gallon of gas of regular unleaded is $1.87 US or just over one British pound. Super unleaded 93-94 octane is about $2.07 US.
