I was just walking past the car park where I work to hear a real loud bang. I look over to where my car is, only to find "health and safety" barriers all over the side of my car. There was a trench being dug around the carpark and the wind blew the barriers over. Not amused, there's some dents and a shed load of scratches. Talk about insult to injury

Glad you took pics mate. You should claim easily off the workers, but make sure you do one thing.. go speak to them NOW! Otherwise it will get brushed under the carpet.

Try to speak to anyone, even a standard brickie / worker. Ask him who his line manager is, and where he is likely to be or when he is on site. Then collar him and present the pics to him.

Them barriers were totally pointless as they were protecting nothing, and warning of nothing.

I'd love to be able to speak to the contractors, but they're not on site, nor can I get the contact details since our head of maintenance is on annual leave. First chance I'll get is Monday, hence why I got the digicam out and burned those pics to CD.
