Yikes! I can see your reasoning. Should look mean
Mate here has a 500bhp V8 Landie but he's also suffering rusty wheel syndrome. It'll be interesting to see how your new ones last.
Oyster
I'm suitably jealous. Ok so your engine and Ch!lledBudwei2e's gearbox and I'd be laughing! All I'd need then are new brakes, shocks, whe........

Thanks for the compliments. My Wife named the Bug Sylvia, cause she's silver
Oh well, she's wanted one since she was about 5 and I was happy to be able to surprise her with one, even though I traded my '95 Z28 LT1 6 speed with T-tops for it. (Bangs head into cinder block, when blood appears does it again just for good measure) For you guys not familiar with Chevy's that means 325 HP attached to a lot of tire and a top speed of around 175. Gotta say though, the Bug outhandles the Z'. About 95 MPH on a downhill right hander. A bit of understeer just after apex while applying throtlle and back up the hill into a left hander uphill understeeringa bit over some loose gravel on the asphalt, was a good trip home with the Beetle that first drive
I'm still waiting for my "thank you" too come to think of it
