Picked up the new Scooby on Friday, Crystal Grey MY05 WRX with 18" OZ Prodrive wheels in Anthracite..
First impressions and I'm well pleased - handling is sharp, feels very solid and well planted.
Gonna get PPP added at the first service as well - can't wait but I think it's gonna come round pretty quickly
Couple of pics for you....the wheels are darker than I thought - what do you guys think ?
Oh and the Zafira GSi and Prelude Vtec in the backround are mine too

I am thinking: "wonder how much does he want for that prelude and what age/mileage/mods/manual? is it and is the man willing to keep it for me for a year"Originally Posted by Bartop

MG ZR 105 as paid for by my employer (quite a step up from the Ka(ck) they had me in previously). Bonus... I get to keep the car
Of course if I'd been driving longer than 4 months and insurance wasn't a problem I'd have gone for something a little more powerful
Needs lowering
And the result of one heavily raining night, bad visibility through the tints and reversing down a dark alleyway without paying more attention:
Ooops. About £800 to repair and it should be fixed in the next couple of days
Just to note, the rear glass is bonded to the lid so instead of a nasty crack it just totally shattered around the edge, pretty much 90% of the glass remained intact. Looks worse than it is.
Prolly about the latest pic of mine, unless u read TV and then theres a fwe in there as well..
218bhp
215lb/ft
^^ was with 14psi and a knackered clutch...
Fixed clutch, boost down to 12psi and got 235Bhp and erm, some torque, have purchased some nice VX Racing Corbeau seats and an effin great FMIC, next year should see me to around the 300bhp mark...
0-60 should now be quicker than std as the 1st gear boost limiter has been removed
FMIC's prolly gonna get done early Feb time as its in Plymouth atm being adjusted to fit, the car it came off was a cally running 28psi, was a touch more modded than mine tho, should see me to 20psi max as I've not changed turbo's yet, altho the seals on this one are on the way out...
Hybrid anyone?
VCool. I've got a cozzie FMIC sittin in me garage, but it looks a tad small compared to the other nissan stuff, plus ive got no pipes to fit - ill probably just go off and buy a jap kit - work out cheaper coz i can fit it myself and no messing around getting greasegeeks to make up custom pipes

Butuz
Well, i'll add mine now as everyone else has! Like the 200sx Butuz!
My mark1 MR2 - i think these are great cars to drive and for the money i dont think you can beat them:
And my slightly newer jap import Mark2!
I would kill for mark1 MR2. How much did it set you back? And is that car meant to be red? It looks more like orange?
That little car cost me the princely sum of £600! I'd really recommend them, loads of fun and cheap to insure. Yeah - the car should be red, but a combination of a very bright sunny day and crappy digital camera results in an orange car!! Similarly the otehr car is also red, but because its a scanned image we've got another 'new' colour!Originally Posted by Shogun
Wow £600- bargain! Got ripped off for mine at £1300 really....
