I mean if I'm going round a corner normally (won't be in 1st gear, ever) Planting my foot won't light up a back wheel, the car will generally understeer if i'm going too fast (found out OFF a public road, please note). However, when I had 4 'arrowspeed' tyres on, it was more than happy to step the tail out if the throttle use was too liberal, enough times to really pish me off aswell.

If I where to dive into a corner, brake late and turn sharply with the throttle down, I'm sure I'd end up oversteering tho

Like the way he took time to carefully park it after his Car Park posing

    Sepia tinged memories mode:

Ah the good old 3 series Volvo. My old 340 could barely pull the skin off a rice pudding, so god knows how he got his to do that. But mine was in lovely condition, metallic brown too

Then I had a 360GLT - that was a different story - 2.0i - now that could pull the skin of a rice pudding, and almost made it to "quite nippy" territory. Until some munter decided to try a head-on into it. Mind you I had the last laugh - it killed his puny Escort on the spot - I dusted off the glass and plastic and drove the Volvo home (a bent chassis later meant I had to wave bye bye )
