at least it looks like ONE 306 owner finally put 2 and 2 together, and got "cheap unreliable french crap" as the answer. took long enough

Hey there Guy who know-it-all of Pug 306 or others....Anyway, my speedometer, rev meter and the fuel gauge stopped working when everything else are working perfectly. My guess it could be the fuse but im just making sure and hear from more experienced ppl in this forum who know a lot about Peugeot. My Car is Peugeot 306 TD LX 1.9...Please reply as im having no idea how this has happened, it just stopped yesterday after i went to shopping. I was driving blind when on the road by having NO idea what the speed im going.
If you reported the problem under warranty and they did not fix then it is still up to them to sort it out. I'm glad you are looking into legal action as I had issues with my previous Pugs. Peugeot UK were a right shower of uselessness.
In the end I went to the motor show and stood on their stand talking about the issues I had with my car and dealer Amazingly some bod from Peugeot walked over to me and introduced himself as some global head of customer service. I was invited into their private section and we actually finally got somewhere.
But as for the OPs problem I have had idling issues (among many others). Stepper motor on one car, ECU on another and Lambda on a third. I won't count the broken engine in the fourth as that would not even start after its cambelt pully FELL OFF on the motorway.
