Out of interest how are you findhing the DS2500's?

Personally i think theyre fantastic. I have not yet managed to get fade on the road. They create a hideous amount of brake dust though. I would advise washing your alloys at least once a week if you want to keep them silver

Try carbon metallic pads - that redefines the meaning of brake dust Amazing stopping power (like nothing else i've tried) but an absolute nightmare to get off wheels.. Black alloys the only way to go there IMHO!

I've actuallly got the Ferrodo DS2500s on mine now - not as good as CMs but far better than the stock brembo pads i was using (and cheaper too..).

I had the pads on the ITR too, and found them just as good on ther vRS, far better than the standard ones that made me have a few heart pounding moments.

The brake dust is crazy, but seeing as I'm a avid car detailer the car and alloys get washed at least twice a week so it's not a big problem.

    Nice one mate.

Mines re-mapped to 215bhp, it was kept to that for economy reasons though! You best start buying your shares in BP now lol

I always found the 312's a good setup on the vRS even with the standard discs and pads. I've got Brembo's on it now and past the initial bite (and posing status of course ) they arent 'that' much better given the amount of money you have to spend. I agree on the dust from the standard VAG pads though, absolutely shocking!

I would like a Carbonio though!

No Sensei, i'm not kicking the mats to waste time, they have parted and I don't want to injure myself!

They are 180bhp standard. Still no slouch!

You can get Octy vRS's cheaper than that now. I have seen them for as low as £5k at times on Autotrader.

Its a Golf GTi in a slightly bigger body - Still blommin' nice though, and a fraction lighter so they do infact move a little better.

Thinking of getting the Cab Chipped, not sure yet.
