    I don't see the point in the RAM cooler when there's two case fans so close to it..

    The ram cooler is more for the pwm than the ram (ok its for the ram, but also the mobo ) I don't have any fans blowing directly down onto the mobo so teh pwm was getting pretty hot. With this installed on full wack it drops my pwm temps by a further 5'c than just having the case fans.

    Y'know sound-proofing foam doesn't work if you leave the side off... heh, I assume it's like that for the photo>!

    Had this machine finished for years, but this is the first half-decent photo I've taken of it (thanks to 'fireworks' mode on the digicam!);

    Yeah it's just a little bit cramped in there.

    Got my new case/PSU/HSF finally setup today (case/PSU were done on Friday, when I was rather ill, didn't do HSF then because I hadn't mounted a 3rd party HSF before, didn't want to screw it up!) - I think the wiring isn't bad, for my first attempt at actual tidy cabling

    I could've done with a) another 5/10cm on the IDE cables and the molex that runs down to the Graphics Card/HD b) a better camera!

    Roll on summer build - SATA drives, easier cables!

    Any suggestions are much appreciated

    That zalman cooler is rather good, keeps CPU at same temp whether its at full speed, or lowest (well, maybe 1C higher), so I was gonna keep it on low all the time unless I was in a game, but the Graphics Card (6800GT, not 6600GT as per 'My System' - I got given the 6800GT yesterday ) is so loud it makes no difference - looking for a cooler for it now too!

    I like the way you have crafted half a guitar onto the front of the case

    My first mod

    So i got fed up of carting my huge thermaltake xaser 3 with me when i went to uni, so i decided to build this which fits in a unit with my HiFi (so less re-wireing ).
    It started out as a standard beige case, that just happened to be the same hight as standard hifi units are wide, but it was a lot deeper. So with a lot of cutting and re-building this is the result.
