How good is that nautilus Matt? What sort of temps on the Q6600?
Only thing making any noise in my case right now is my Zalman 9700NT. It's between a Tuniq Tower and sub £100 watercooling for it's replacement right now.

Currently showing 27 degrees having been on for around 11 hours at various loads through out the day.
Office is a bit warm now, normally its around 19-22 at idle.
With the fan controller on the sharkoon fans they are quiet too, as is the Tagan.
Unfortunately I need to do something about the 7800GTX soon, I have a VGA cooler lying around so I might fit that when I get some spare time.
Matt
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net
Thats better than I was expecting, actually. Wonder when Scan will get them back in stock
For the 7800, unless you really want it water cooled a Vf900 is completely silent at 5V and I've never needed to turn on up on any card.
Definition of "bunch of wires everywhere"
...I tried
Maybe there is slight room for improvement, but I basically did well, didn't I
haha that looks like my brothers pc before i did it for him
heh, and my p160 before I spent an afternoon cable tying everything...
Took me ages
Cable management for beginners, anyone?
bars, screwholes, back of motherboard trays, and cravetes around fans are usually good places to tidy up cables, a big bundle of zipties are always useful, better than spiral wraps imo. If you *REALLY* have patience of a saint there's brading or heat shrinkwrap to bundle the ones you need together.
Thanks. I can't believe how well these people are hiding their cables. As you can see I used cable ties but still things look really messy. And great thing is this is larger case pc and I have another smaller case pc which has even worse cable management. If I feel like sacrificing myself again to show how good these people are, I'll post the picture later
Ouch.
But better than I expected
Personally, I actually prefer working with ribbon cables than the rounded ones as they're easier to manage and hide. I believe there is even a name for it; "cablegami" or something
heres my cabling job Damn i need to make sure that next time i buy a psu, it would be sleeved (well all top end psu's nowadays are sleeved anyway)
