    A nice quiet 120mm Globe one running at 7V will definitively be much quietier and so on...

    About the drive suspension - I killed my 160G Maxtor this way (but RMA it, so... but data are lost...), but since the results are amazing, it did not stoped me, I just bought better rubbers and added safety net and that it is. Easy to do.

    loved the look of my wavemaster but airflow is crap in them,changing to silent fans just makes it even worse.
