Yep, the UK release date was bought forward to March 23rd, it is definately out on Friday!

A few chaps seem to have the game already so some shops must be selling it early. Quite a few places have it in stock, but they shouldn't be selling 'till Friday.

I'll certainly be dropping by Tesco on Friday, can't wait!

Managed to obtain this a day early had a quick play on it last night.

Early indications are that it seems ok, however I am sure that it could get a bit repetitive after a while

not with online play mate, you can never get bored of online gaming. the problem with top spin2 is that there was hardly anyone online playing it and that you was forced to play with your created character.

Suppose I forgot about the online aspect of the gameplay

Saying that I havent really been using the online aspect of the 360 for the past 2 months or so, which is the best part of the console - suppose I shall have to make sure I have more free time.

i know the feeling mate, i hardly have any time on the 360, infact it was just last night i had a quick kickabout on pro evo, but besides that my 360 has been collecting dust for last month or so!

Better than Top Spin 2 online? Not sure whether to take a gamble with this one.

yeh im not to sure now, i didnt really enjoy the demo much

as mentioned above i'm worried that it will just get repetitive, although tiger woods is still one of my fav games and thats far from repetitive

I've been on Virtua Tennis 3 pretty much all day, my thumb is killing me!

I think it's a cracking game. I've only played one Live match yet, it worked flawlessly but I got blown away by the other guy, far too good! I'm still learning though, going to go through the entire single player game and home in on my skills before venturing back onto Live.

Though single player itself does offer a lot and will last ages, it will inevitable get repetitive after so many weeks/months. However, if you have Xbox Live, the single player game can be seen as a build up to the major league. Single player is basically one big huge practise mode and once you're confident you take your skills online and that is where the game will never be repetitive and has fun that'll last for months/years.

    Top game!

I've just add a go at VT3 and all i can say is that it is much better than TS2! One thing i hate about ts2 is that the career mode starts off on hard difficulty has you cannot just train every week to boost your stats and that you always face someone who is 10x better than you in tournaments. while playing ts2 it does however start to get easier once you start winning matches etc but in VT3 the first year or soo is realy easy and than gets harder has you get closer to 1st rank. you can also pretty much build your stats character for the first couple of years and than participate in tourney's and win them quit easily.

That said i feel that the career mode in vt3 is gunna be shorter than in ts2 but not such a bad thing has you can create various characters and pit them up against real opponents online.
