    In a word, shocking!
They've put a hell of alot of new stuff in Pro evo, think it will continue to be the best.

    Re: fifa 08

I've been playing FIFA 07 more than any game in the last twelve months. Looking forward to seeing what they do with this one.

I'll be getting Pro Evo as well and giving both of them a couple of weeks to decide which one I'll be playing over the next year.

The new diving system in Pro Evo really could be its downfall, unless you can turn it off online.

The graphics in Pro Evo have definitely improved, but it's on the pitch that really counts.

It's going to be a close call this year, but can't wait to play them both.

    Re: fifa 08

PES2008 for me thanks. It's going to have all the features that were missing from PES6, faster movement and improved AI. The only negative I can imagine it having is the lack of licenses for the teams and players, out of the box at least. Good enough for me, thanks.

FIFA might have some mega trick system to make it seem more like FIFA Street and a completely new PES, but I don't care.

When has a football game ever been impressive on the PC? I'll wait for the 360 demo before completely writing it off.

from what i've read the diving system (used to be on the old PES - well WXII) is almost impossible to pul off, everytime the reviewers tried it they got booked for diving

cool but once people figure out how to master it, its going to be pretty crap when playing someone online who is an expert at diving

tbh they should scrap that feature and just implement a way where a certain player dives automaticly (drogba for example)

    Re: fifa 08

what a surprise, a user with the name "fifafan" and 3 posts thinks Fifa 08 will be amazing, with no substantial evidence or discussion other than typical chav typing.

"I fink fifa will B da Bomb it is well betta dan PES"
fantastic argument, debate and well backed up opinions.
    It is Inevitable.....

I have, thanks. And I don't care, it's on the PC. Most of the appeal of football games is the multiplayer, and I'm talking offline not online. I'm not doubting online is good fun but a bunch of mates with beers, round a TV playing PES is lots of easy fun and it's the main reason I buy football games at all.
