Easy?
I played straight away in top player and havn't won yet?
I'm finding it a little more difficult, they've not changed too much in terms of gameplay which is good.
I'll have to try clarkys suggestion, the goals i've scored so far are all from crosses and 1 from a corner, there seems to be less space when you pass it through the middle now?

Looking foward to seeing the PC demo now as always played better on PC in the past.

This is the first footie game I've given a try since one of the Fifa games on the megadrive.

I'm having a hard time scoring any goals, only managed to score one so far Guess I need more practice. How do you do lofted through balls? I know a through pass is the Y button, but they always seem to keep it on the ground.

try doing some 1-2s

also try shooting low (press down into the corner you are aiming at)


y is trough ball (along ground)
left bumper and y is lofted trough ball

lofted pass is left bumper and b
lofted 1-2 is left bumper and x

in the PC version of pes6, someone made a commentary patch that used the same commentary from fifa 07 and it worked brilliently and realy enchanced the game a hell of alot. this is why i wont be buying the 360 version has the pc version caters for various mods that can make this game alot more realistic and better due to mods.

there was also a stadium mod where you could literely have 100's of stadiums in your game. i had the emirates and various other stadiums from my game and it just made the game alot more enjoyable to play. if your unhappy with pes not having the licence that fifa has, buy the pc version of it and mod the hell out of it like me and others have and there you will have a pes game full of proper kits, balls and stadiums

tbh, i love it. Compared to Fifa the feel of PES8 is much better. I will be preordering this friday (payday) hehe.

Totally agree with Knivesuk, PES 8 is looking so much better than Fifa.
Ok I don't like the Fifa series but it's still a very good soccer game but lower than PES serie.
What's your opinion guys?

Anyone else think this demo is far too easy? I think shooting is stupidly easy as all you have to do is hold it down untill the pwoer bar fills and it still goes on target. Hopefully the actual game will be harder than this or I will be dissapointed.
