well just hear whats the PS3 got over the xbox and wether you would recommend the PS3
If you have an HDTV the addition of bluray might sway it but if not, your not missing out at all.
NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, GBA, DS, PSone, PS2, PSP, PS3 60gb, XBOX, XBOX 360, Master System, Game Gear, Mega Drive, Saturn, Dreamcast, PC Engine, Neo Geo CD
yeah i got HD T.V 1080. is the picture better than xbox 360?
I sold my 360 when I got a ps3, I'm more than happy with it even if others don't think I should be.
Mr fibbles. what games do you have withthe PS3 now and whats the online like as ive heards its really laggy. is that true?
the easiest way to decide, is compile a full list of games that you would want to play on both consoles (including upcoming titles)
and see which one has the longer list/ more inviting options
or if you just want a bluray player then....
ok i shall do that.
oh lastly, do the Ps3's breakdown like the 360's
ps3;'s dont break down. Online is free, but some games online are tough to get full games. But its improving. Get a ps3 for bluray obv.
Rig: Amd 64 3700+ San Diego | Abit AT8 | 4x512 Corsair XMS3200C2PRO | PowerColour X850XTPE / Arctic Cooled | Samsung Spinpoint 250Gig | Enermax NoiseTake 485w | Arctic Freezer 64 Pro | Coolermaster Wavemaster Silver | Dell 2405FPW | Logitech G5 / Everglide Destrukt Monstermat |
the reason why i asked about breaking down lots was because i heard of people having their games jammed in and the Ps3 screwing up so much they had to take them back. is that just really rare then?
I've found the online part ok, saying that I only play COD4. The other games I've got are Ratchet and Clank which is quality, GTA 4 which is good, Burnout Paradise which is also good, Grid which I really like and GT Prologue which I haven't played yet.
The latest firmware for the PS3 has made it very similar to the 360 in terms of what it does, it will also have online film rentals at some point in the near future. This was one feature I didn't use on the 360 so probably wont on the PS3 either.
Unless your chomping at the bit for a Blu Ray player, or want to play MGS4 alot then there really is no point whatsoever in getting a PS3. Spend the money on more games, thats what you have your console for. PS3's are MASSIVELY more reliable than 360's, our demo unit at work has had a bottle of coke spilled in the top while it was on. It turned itself off, we left it for an hour, switched it on no problems, been running virtually non stop for a year since then. Ive had people return elites where after literally 2 mins after getting it out the box its red ringed.
