    Yup, they made playing cards millions of years before they were a gaming company. I've already swotted up on the Big N, but I'll give it a read.

    It's actually not as good as I first thought.

    Unless there is loads cut off because of the layout errors, becasue i didn't see any any of the hand helds in the timeline, or the Cube or N64.

    Interesting titbit i didnt know,

    Trivia - Star Fox, released in the US in 1993, was the first 3D polygon game to ever appear on a home console. It made use of the cartridge’s Super FX chip to create 3D effects. The chip and game were developed in the UK, by Argonaut Software

    Yeah, I remember reading all about it in my SNES mag of choice - Super Play - and going oooh. It then made me research what a DSP chip was... and the road to geekiness was found (okay, it was found and travelled quite a while before, but artistic license and all that...)

    Then nothing really that good came of the FX chip... Shame... Still, nice read in the link...
