    PS3 Network connections

Can the PS3 use the wireless and the ethernet connections at the same time ?

I would like to use the wireless to connect to the internet, and the wired to connect a storage solution to place videos and stuff on. Wireless is not really fast enough for transferring videos when you want to watch it pretty soon.

As far as I know this isn't possible. Unless you install Linux of course

That isn't possible. You try try some homeplugs, thats what I use for my PS3. You have to plug any external storage devices into a USB port on the PS3.

    Re: PS3 Network connections

If you set up a webserver you can browse to that with the PS3 and download any files. Easier to update than a USB drive plugged into the PS3 which would then need to be plugged into something else.

Homeplugs plugged into a gigbit switch with the storage server and anything else that needs it around there is probably the best option.
