How many 360 consoles have you gone through?

admittedly the first one was accidentely dropped whilst moving...
the second was RROD... third is working like a charm and has been for over a year now!


the M$ customer service wasn't that bad actually, expected worse for some reason!

Purchased a launch-day Premium, worked flawlessly untill I traded it in for a launch-day Elite. Going strong, no problems at all.

2 rrod. Console repaired and returned each time.

Console 7 now, about 5 of them RRoD. Seriously. I do play it quite a bit but no more than most other people.

Also MS service with me was amazing they picked it up the next day after i rung, brung the labels,box and everything and i got it back a week later...i was truly amazed

They have been good at sorting it - I reckon I've got a dodgy PSU, I'll ask them to take it and test it if it happens again, that's the only thing I think it could be.

I guess kicking it doesn't affect it then huh!...My 360 is the only thing i wouldn't boot because its so god damn awesome *with a hint of 360 love* *in a straight non-nerdy way*


Also i doubt your PSU is naffing up your 360's nath, because if it was giving out to much power your 360 would get rrod right away or the power supply light would flash orange and red as myn did when it wasn't getting enough power due to the plug hanging out

If it's outputting a lot of ripple/a noisy supply then it could damage it over time (maybe it's an EZ-Cool unit in disguise ). Unlikely but I can't think of anything else.

Never done anything to MS. I think they repaired it most of the time TBH, I forgot to check the S/N until recently. Maybe they missed what was causing it to fail.

I got my first RROD today...

did the toothpick fix method and it worked again straight away...

fingers crossed it holds out, or im off to buy an arcade unit whilst i ship off this unit to M$
