How many 360 consoles have you gone through?

Well I'm still on my first 360, I purchased it from the first batch entering the Uk (November '05), and it's still going strong..... Must jhust be lucky I guess.

However, it's still got some way to go to beat my SNES which is still going strong after 17 years

My console dates back to Novemeber 2006, and failed (RROD and on screen message a few times) about 1/3rd of the way through my second year of uni in 2008 whilst playing call of duty 4 of all the games!

Repair took over a month which was a bit disappointing, luckily I had 3 other 360's to go on ..

Shortly after mine failed I must have cursed my housemates as subsequently 2 of the 3 others proceeded to fail. The 3rd console had already been repaired.

Currently no issues!

Yeah, it must be costing MS a fair bit! I've heard consoles with MFR data of 2008 or later are more reliable - maybe it has something to do with the CPU die shrink?

yea they are but they still break. people say that because the 360 is so popular the failure rate is high but i disagree. the build quality of the 360 is shocking.

a shame because i had to shell out £300 for the ps3 in order to get my gaming fix because of how poorly made the 360's are

360 has some great games
