Is there a demo due soon on PSN? Want to try this out, really enjoyed 1 and 2 but played them on my PS3 so graphics were not up to the usual PS3 HD standard.
I recently bought a second hand PS2 just to play the original two games before #3 came out. Just finished #2 last weekend and am now itching for the next one.
Demo was released on PSN store today. Just finished playing it...awesome game!!
Surprisingly I've never played any of the God of War games.
But planning to pick this up as a trilogy when it's released.
what did everyone think of this game in the end then? personally completed it afew times now and i can honestly say it was one of the best console games ive ever played. maybe a little short but still for graphics alone its possibly in my top 5 of all time. Fighting on moving creatures just shows how far games have developed since the good old days of 2d beat-em ups like street fighter 2. Cant believe that GOW3 is the last ever to be made. booo. On the plus side you can download the first 2 from the playstation store.
I've still got to complete it but I've played through GOW I and II and they're such a stunning franchise! The blood, the gore, the violence!! All the ingredients you need for a game IMO
Those games are sooo good. They're like Sony's Halo
I'm going to make a a point of completing this finally, on the weekend.
Great game!!
Love god of war
hmm is there any info whether this is the last of GOW?
I mean if he comes back from the dead o_O and kills non-greek gods
Finally convinced myself to get a PS3 for this. I've also got the GoW HD collection too. Is it worth playing them in order? Or does it not really matter and you can play them pretty much independently?
I am doing them in order, if only to remind muself what the first two were like.
I'm the sort of person who will not watch an epic series on telly if I've missed the first episode, though...
