I'd definately play them in order, the story is really good. plus u will see a gradual improvement in graphics and gameplay

I've already ordered the GoW 1&2 HD Remake, so was wondering whether or not I should hold off I did play a little of 1 and a fair amount of 2 and did really like them, but will never got round to finishing them. Playtested the start of the third and it looks amazing, with the initial Posieden fight on Gaia. Will take some real restraint to not play it - but it is probably worth it to get the story I guess. Need to finish Gears of War 3 first though...

I found that I wanted to go back and re-do no1 to a) see how the graphics have improved (they certainly have) and b) learn the controls again. I found that there were pertinent bits of the story I'd forgotten about as well.

Now I'm onto 2, but haven't got past the 'naked ladies in the bath' scene yet... I found there were pert bits of the story I'd forgotten about...

This game was amazing, I was gonna get the HD versions of the original two, are they worth getting?
