That's controversial. As much as it may look like a button masher at first, it is so much more than that. Gameplay is far far superior than most, but it is a game that some people won't like.

I would also recommend Forza, been playing it quite a bit recently and really enjoying the racing.

Re: TEmpted by a 360 but have a few questions

Sorry to gatecrash Kopite's thread, but I'm thinking of getting a 360 too, but I'm not a fan of FPS games (I know the 360 has some great one's they just not my thing), however having played over at a friends house on her 360, some of the retro arcade titles seem good (I remember some of those 8 bit titles first time round) , I do like adventure/rpg's and racing titles.

Would it still be worth investing in one? Or should I stick to my PC

    Thanks in advance

Re: TEmpted by a 360 but have a few questions

I'd say go for it, there are loads of classics on the arcade, for around £5/6 each and the racing games are really good, for arcade there is burnout paradise and pgr4, sim there is forza 2 and race pro and loads of adventure/rpg's too

You get Burnout paradise as part of the entertainment pack with an extra controller so its a good start

I like the look of the bikes addon for Burnout Paradise. I enjoyed the original Burnout games on the Cube and Xbox1, and MotoGp looks quite good too (though I'll never be as good as my RVF Honda days on the Amiga)

yea if you buy it with a system you can get Burnout Paradise Ultimate, Trivial Pursuit, and Connect 4 Arcade with Xbox 360 White Wireless Controller at some places...

If you already have a 360... you can get the Burnout Paradise Ultimate/Trivial Pursuit Double Pack (without another controller) for £15 here

Got your invite last night Kopite and added you If you ever fancy some live arcade co-op/multiplayer just give me a shout unless you get left 4 dead/gow2 then I will happily go through the co-op stuff

Other games to try I would say that can be had for pennies these days would be assassins creed (gets repetative but stick with it) Ninja Blade for an all out rediculous ninja game lol the game is a little short and a bit OTT but the game sets out to be OTT. Ninja Gaiden 2 is alright but for some strange reason it just doesn't feel right to me in comparison to the first NG or even the enjoyment from the DS version.

I have a 60 gb version and wish i had an elite since the option the install games has been available. Also the films from the marketplace will be in full hd (1080p) soon, which will take up abit of memory.

Think you'll find that the movies will be streamed.

Re: TEmpted by a 360 but have a few questions

Well `ive had the 360 for over a month and am loving it. Completed fable 2 which was fun but a bit short imo. Might play it back through being really evil but we`ll see.

i gave Ninja gaiden 2 another go and started to get into it but i`ve come up against a boss at the top of the flaming tower and get pwned every time

Played a lot of fifa 09 and am really enjoying that as well. Even won my first match online the other week

I am spending most of my time atm playing burnout paradise though. Really loving the game and am gonna buy the big surf island add on but want to complete the normal game first. I have just about done every burn challenge on the cars and will then start going through all the races until I have the elite license

I bought mass effect but Couldnt really get into it. i`ve been told by ppl that after 3 hours it gets good but it seems a lot of time investment to get to the point where the game becomes worth playing and if the controls at the start are anything to by I dont know If i`ll enjoy it.

Also played dead rising and whislt its ok it does seem a bit dated now. dead rising 2 is looking good though

I have just put 5k points on my account as well so will try some market place stuff soon.
