I havent been able to connect to anyone regardless of the methods i try be it ports i have opened, number of people who are on the server or messin around wit my firewall. i will give it another go today. We should probs post up a our names so we can have a Hexus game going. Cant remember mine but i will post it up later

I'm the same, you need to unlock the ports and set up a static IP for your pc on the router so that the unlocked ports are always associated to your pc, at least that's my reading of it.
If you don't have a router modem and just have a single pc adsl modem your fine.

I've given up on mine atm and used GameRanger it worked, no gamespy account needed, no steam account needed, but does mean a gameranger account (yet another account to try to keep track of )

But if you don't mind yet another account, maybe we could try getting a game going via gameranger.

that's what GameRanger does.

Yeh well we have a fix, use hamachi and then login online it somehow seems to work .
Anyone else want to join me and pob online?

btw found the vb script to open the ports needed to work ok for me, (edited it slighty to increase the ports needed )

Checking on forums shows that the voice in the game is voice activated and more offen then not lags the game out, will edit the config to turn it off.
