Depends how much space you want, and how many games you have. For example I have some music stored on my 360, and a lot of space taken up by game saves etc

Personally I would go for the 250gb version as you will have plenty of space.

I would go for the 250gb version also, being that there's no place to buy an official drive as yet.

If I just wanted a 360 for Forza, would the 4gb be fine?

I have a media centre, so won't be using the 360 for storage

    Re: A Xbox with 250 or 4GB?

It would work fine, but you'd not be able to install Forza onto the 4gb console and would have to play from disk. Not that big a deal, but ever since the install to disk option cam along, I use it for eveything.

I would also go for the 250gb console for future-proofing.

You can with some modding but they don't fit very well.

Go for the 250GB version. You might think you don't want to download loads of stuff, but when you see the marketplace, there'll be all sorts of demos/games/trailers you want. Plus, Forza 3 (or at least the edition I've got ) comes with an extra disc that has to be installed to the onboard storage. You'll find yourself frustrated with only 4GB to play with.

Yeah 250GB, I've got the 120GB elite and still run out of space with all the game install/arcade/game downloads. the 4GB is just there to show a low priced entry model like the old old arcade

    Re: A Xbox with 250 or 4GB?

A: "4GB is a woefully small amount of space."
B: "But I'm ok with not installing my games - even though that would make gaming so much more quiet"
A: "So, what about a nice game of Lara Croft, Limbo, Dead Rising: Case Zero?
B: "Oh yes please. Wow, they're great"
A: "Fancy a spot of Battlefield Bad Company 2"
B: "Oo, I love that game. Go on then. Phew, just enough space to install the huge game updates and the Onslaught mode."
A: "Right, we're going to play BC2 Vietnam"
B: "Yay, me too. This is great... oh, wait. Er, I've not got any space."
    A: "Delete Limbo then"
B: "But I paid for that"
A: "LOL - 4GB is woefully small amount of space. Better go and buy a nice big HDD"
    B: "<Sob> "

I'd buy a 250GB version. Bags of space without the worry.

    Re: A Xbox with 250 or 4GB?

apparently there's a problem playing Halo Reach multiplayer on the 4gb model, it needs to install some data to play but it doesn't recognise the 4gb flash memory as a HDD. So if you want to play Halo Reach online get the 250gb model.
