Speaker problem...

ok, dunno if there is a right place to put this, but i'm putting it here regardless

basically my grandad gave me a pair of pioneer CS-545 speakers a couple of years ago, and i used them for a bit with his old amp (which is falling apart), and then they have just sat in my room gathering dust.. however onto the point... one of the tweeter speaker things (if thats what they are lol, it has 3 speakers in each one, big, small and smaller... its the 'small' one), my brother (i think) has poked, and so instead of the center bit sticking out, its now stuck in...

how can i get it to be back out again, i was thinking maybe harness the suction of a hoover or something perhaps... or will it not do anything to improve the situation..

i'll try to get a couple of pictures if you are all confused

its the dome in the centre of the tweeter.

To be fair, Grandads speakers are prob past it so leave it be mate.

BUT...if like me you must fidle

get a drinking straw....and SUCK it out

If it's not affecting the sound then it doesn't really matter if the dust cap is popped in or not really.

Yeah - you can ease these out with your fingers, takes a while but its doable ... you could use a drinking straw. I wouldn't recommend a Hoover as it'll be way too much force.

That'll be your mid-range driver

It won't affect the sound, so I personally wouldn't bother risking it.

They don't look too bad speakers either

hahaha.. i think you would have to be superman to create enough suction using a straw... ( guess i could've used another metaphor there but this is a family forum )...

if you say it'll be just the same sound quality then ok i'll leave it... need to sort out the old old amp i have and get some music flowing through the speakers... well that can be another day
