Night's dawn would work better as a 6 season telly series tbh... It's too big and immersive to be captured properly in one, or even three films.....

Only if you want him to have a nervous breakdown, ensure that everyone else on the cast and crew has one too, engage in huge contractual disputes, regard every character as "disposable", make endless dodgy TV/straight to video movies based on it,and cast Bruce Boxleitner as Joshua Calvert...Something to give to J.
