....because, at work, concentrating on something else, it hits your soul.....you know it, and you recall a scene and it strikes you more, even though it's unconcious, than if you'd put the CD on yourself.

And so a track from Saving Private Ryan just got me.....while on the phone to someone and typing a letter, filling in a warranty doc....

it hit me...the haunting sound of the trumpet, alone and sad....

Blinding track...bloody ace.

yeap everytime I hear a track from Prodigy's new album I recall them live on Tuesday 7th December 2004 @ the carling apollo.

I usually get that with songs that remind me of people, as odd as it may sound.

Its pretty obvious that Im a bit of a music nut and one of the first things I do when I meet people is suss out their music tastes - which usually results in me associating them with a particular song or artist.
Can be good, can be bad..... happened to me recently while working away in the pub kitchen - a certain song came on the radio out of the blue.... made me smile and instantly think of a certain person.

Me and my g/f have been having alot of problems and broke up. Then i heard the song My Chemical Romance : The Ghost Of You. And it hit me. seemed to really make sense.

Hearing certain songs does remind me of live gigs, only soundtrack I can remember that happening with is the LOTR soundtrack, i'll be just sat on the bus or wandering round at work and catch myself humming part of it.

Can't recall the trumpet in that... is it Fanfare For The Common Man - Aaron Copland? if it isn't, it should be. Almost moves me to tears when i hear that played.....
