After seeing this thread a few days ago i decided to finally get my backside in gear to purchase a replacement set of headphones for my Sennheiser MX500's which after about 2 years of loyal service have mysteriously vanished. Anyway, going back to the headphones that came with my Archos Gmini400 was painful, although the player is top notch.

A quick look on ebay and £50 from my bank account and today a pair of shure E2c's dropped through the door.

MY GOD they were worth it, the best pair of headphones ive listened to bar none.

so thanks to all the shure recommenders

I recommend using the foam inserts with them for the best audio quality. Takes a second or two longer to insert them, but the sound quality is stunning.

    Glad you like them.

That's the guy I bought mine off. He's obviously pulling the old "increase the P&P to make the product seem cheaper" trick, but mine arrived in around 7 days and the service was good.

I recommend getting custom moulds made, although it will cost about £75 including getting the moulds done.

That way they will fit your ear canals perfectly and you will get the best sound out of the earphones.

I bought a pair of E2c and was dissappointed with the bass. It turns out this was because the supplied buds didn't fit my ears very well.

Well worth the money in my opinion.

Several places do them but I got mine from Sensorcom.

You can forget it, its somewhere in europe i think, prices are in £ and € but postage is €15

I did get another UK company to price beat them though. They offered them to me for £59 inc postage

Excellent speed on email replys too. Got a reply on my price beat email within minutes.

Well i ordered last night from easyipod and they were dispatched today. Could possibly be here tomorrow or most likely monday.

I paid £60 inc royal mail special delivery before 9am BUT i've just been told they can be had for £50 + P&P at mobilefun http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/7349.htm with postage at either £2.50 or £5

    Well they came this morning.

In general very good! They block out an amazing amount of sound and now ive got the right ends for me i can even hear my heat beat when theres no music playing lol

Sound quality seems very good, even through my crapy sound blaster live. Very good when paired with Sony HD1

Only comment i have is that they're not as loud as my old entry level in ear sonys (Not EX71)

Have you ever had a pair of EX70 or 71? Or even 51?
