    Good digital photo magazine

I dont normally buy a lot of mags but picked up a copy of Digital Camera (DC) mag to read on the train. Theres some good artiles but the tutorial section this month deals a lot with landscape photography and processing RAW files. Theres a ste by step guide in the mag, video tutorial on the cd and the start images are there as well. Theres also a good tutorial on sing adjustment layers (in PS), both on the entire image and indevidual areas. The RAW file processing tutorial is done using RAW shooter essential, which is freeware. Their reviews are also quiet good, they do a pro tripod review and the £80 one came out better than the £250 ones.

if its tips you're after i can thoroughly recommend 'the photoshop cs/cs2 book for digital photographers' its by scott kelby who edits photoshop user magazine and its a great book. i thought i was reasonable in photoshop then i bought this book on a recommendation and ive learnt loads. loads of stuff on how to achieve different looks of photo not just technical gubbins, and its funny (odd considering the subject).

oh and what was the £80 tripod that did so well? im after a new one.
    cheers

manfrotto 190 pro, need a head on top of that though. Theres also a good bit on cf cards and the difference that faster cards make during high speed shooting.
