    40" high Definition lcd tv

    hi all

    im looking for a 40" high Definition lcd tv and i got about £1500 i have had a look at a few but the 1 that stands out to me is the Samsung LE40R51B but not quite sure so thats why i have posted here to see if any 1 else has bought 1 recently that might be some help here is the link to the Samsung LE40R51B.

    I really, really like the Samsungs at the moment - i think the syling of them is beautiful, the price is great (i'd consider a 32" model IF i were buying now, but i'm not..) and the 26" model seems to be the one everywhere demo'ing the Xbox360's in shops - beautiful & good quality.

    Just need to add however that I don't own one, so have no personal experience I'm afraid!

    the only reason i want a 40" is because i dont really want it for gaming just for purely wacthing television and dvds i aint got a console and i do all my gaming on my pc.

    Oh i agree, i'm not casting aspertions on the 40" at all - it would be my girlfriend who'd be saying "why do you want something that big in our living room". If it were just me, i'd be thinking 40" as a bare minimum!!

    funny my girlfriend is the same i was after a 24" Dell 2405FPW LCD monitor but she started moaning becuase it was nearly as big as the living room telly so i had to drop to the 20" 2005fpw instead.
