    As well as my Wireless Squeezebox 3 setup mentioned above, i now have an MDA (PDA Phone) which, as well as playing music from the MiniSD card (and acting as a wireless remote for my Squeezebox3) also works well as a brilliant streaming device in it's own right;

    I have mapped my music folder on my home wireless network. I have installed Conduits Pocket Player and stream the music stright off my harddrive to anywhere in the house/garden. I can either use headphnes or jack into a HiFi/powered speakers.

    If anyone has a WiFi network at home and a WiFi Pocket PC/Smart Phone, i highly recommend Pocket Player. As well as the usual suspects, it can also handle OGG, FLAC, Album Art, Varios other cool plugins and gappless playback very well. This makes my FREE MDA better than an iPod IMO.

    Black Zen Microphoto

    Hi All,

    Nice Forum you've built up here. I rely on my Creative Zen Microphoto for MP3 playback, radio, date/time and voice memo's, I couldn't live without it at this point.

    I get about 14 hours of playback from a full charge and full volume and I haven’t noticed any sound distortions yet. Maybe I should update the firmware. People say they can hear the background noise go up a level when the OLCD is activated, but they must have sensitive ears. The only feature it's missing is a lanyard drop.

    All the belt pouches designed for the micro are crap. I ended up buying a Virgin Mobile VMDVPBK Hydrofoam Cellular Case - Black from shoppers drug mart. I know they also have them at best buy. It looks great and the micro just slides right in and gets strapped down nicely. The belt clip is strong and locks in place with a catch at the bottom so it won't fly off you're belt if the headphone cable gets clipped. My favorite feature is the velcro strap that holds the headphone jack in place, very useful. Designed for cell phones, better for the zen micro series. Hope this helps others that can't find a good pouch for it.

    Alex

    Always use my PC for my music, connected with my Senn PC160s as my monsterous PC speakers are a joke...
    Stick Winamp on random and I'm away!
    Shame I don't have a decent sound card to help though
    Guess I could also include listening on my PSP as well though, handy little things

    I've been thinking over the weekend how to make my room's sound richer.

    So far I've come up with a cheap and simple solution.

    Get another 5.1 set of creative speakers and then 3 headphone to 2 x headphone splitters and connect another set of speakers to the PC.

    Then I would technically have 10.2

    Worth a try surely

    source your own decent speakers - while the creative ones are OK for crap rooms if you really want a rich sound you are going to have to put some real research in. doubling the existing speakers isn't going to make any difference to anything you hear.
