    MP3's come off sound card as a digital output into my Denon AVR 1800 which does the decoding, CD's from a Cambridge Audio Azur 640C v2, DVD's from Cambridge Audio DVD 300. All goes into the denon as a digital input (except for the CD player for obvious reasons) and then gets thrown out of the Denon's preouts into a Rotel RB976 6 channel power amp (runs in bridge mode for a mono amp for each front speaker 150W per channel ) and sent to Kef Concerto 1 floorstand speakers, Kef Cresta centre and Kef Cresta 1 rears. Only ever use 5.1 for films, strictly stereo for music, ruins the soundstage otherwise.

    Oh yeah got the Xbox going into it as well. One proper hifi for everything, can't abide computer speakers.

    Musical Fidelity A3.5 Stereo Amp fed by Pioneer 868Avi into Monitor audio Gold signature 10s.

    For multi-channel I then power on the Yamaha RXV-630 to power the Kef Q1 and Q9C rears and a Pionner A400 biamped to power my Monitor Audio GSLCR.

    I do wonder sometimes if I'm able to leave the house

    I never listen to any cd on my pc

    I've just realised my hi-fi system has passed it 10th birthday.. see if you have heard of any of this:

    Pioneer PD-S703 (where you put the CD in upside down)
    Rotel RA-935BX - upgraded mark II - it was half price and sounds great
    Mordaunt Short 25i (bi-wired to the Rotel)

    My first proper job and I blew my whole months pay on it, aha they were days ....

    amarok in dynamic mode, audigy + 5.1 creative system. Good enough for my little room

    but right now I'm listening to the radio using a 20 year old sony radio in which I just found some batteries from 1994!

    On my pc, I use Winamp to play MP3s on Logitech S200 2.1 speakers using the integrated sound chip, will upgrade to a X-Fi.

    On my Hi-fi, Hitachi AX-M69 with two extra speakers from my old hi-fi which totals up to 150W with some belkin 16-gauge speaker wire. In the future, looking to get a new amp and speakers

    On Vinyl, An Aiwa PX-E850 connected to above stero. Will upgrade this some day too.

    On the move, and at college, Just some cheap £20 128MB mp3 player with 512mb SD card through my headphones.

    At work, kerrang through some dodgy old stero.

    Lil bump since I've made a bunch of upgrade:

    FLAC/MP3 -> X-Fi Elite Pro (breakout box) -> Grado HF-1
    or
    FLAC/MP3 -> X-Fi Elite Pro (line out) -> RSA Hornet -> Cardas Mini-to-mini + generic extension cable -> AKG 701 (finally got them!)
    or
    FLAC/MP3 -> X-Fi Elite Pro -> Creative Gigaworks S750

    I need to get a longer Cardas mini-to-mini cable so I can do without the generic extension cable and I will leave my audio setup a rest for a while. I've spent too much on audio in the last 12 or so months

    Music/Movies through a Pioneer DV-656-A linked to a Marantz SR5300 to Mordaunt Short 900 series 6.1 speakers. My Xbox and other consoles are also plumbed into the whole setup. Sounds Sweet. Oh and the TV is a 32" Philips jobby. Still have Tonnes of music on my PC too, mainly Pink Floyd
