Would Corsair consider a 'cut price bundle'?
I'm building a new computer for my video and graphics editing machine as I've just finished University and want to invest in my youtube from which I can start earning money with a partnership I have with Machinima, I plan to start making regular videos to capitalise on my 18,000 subscribers and my ties to Machinima and other directors who have between 50,000 and 2 Million viewers to start earning money.
I have to buy everything for my computer through SCAN because of the finance. I have a very strict budget of £1500. This is made up of a £400 ' graduation present', £600 I hope to get from the sale of my old computer, laptop and other bits and bobs and £500 finance.
The build will be recorded for my youtube channel and I hope to promote it a little as there are alot of people who know me as the computer building guy.
I have always used Corsair memory in the past and my PSU is from you guys too, but my budgets in the past have been too restrictive to even consider other bits and bobs (and admittedly, I hadn't noticed until last year your SSDs and the CPU water-coolers).
Now with my new build there are so many parts that I would like to buy from Corsair, but each of them other than the memory are considerably dearer than the alternatives I had priced up, sending my rigs approximate price upto £1650 if I wish to include them. The parts I was looking at are as follows.
Corsair 600T White Graphite Case (£129) in comparison to the BitFenix Survivor or Core (£50-80)
Corsair 750HW (£108) in comparison to the XFX 750 Modular (£85).
Corsair 60GB SSD (£104) in comparison to OCZs equivalent (£92)
Corsair H70 Cooler (£73) in comparison to... actually I havent really looked at the coolers yet.
I'd say 16gb OF 1600MHz vengeangce memory, but tbh I'm getting that regardless
So as you can see, my build is costing about £120 extra if I buy the corsair bits and bobs and I was wondering if you have any suggestions or offers for me to keep this price down.
