    Bugger, waiting on an answer from Asus but doubt much can be done as I got the mobo in July 07.. so about 3 years ago :/

    Nothing wrong with the memory though Is it better to run it in dual mode at 800MHz or single at 1600?

    Dual channel mode will produce much better results in memory intensive operations.
