Supposed benchmarks of the FX8300:
http://wccftech.com/amd-fx8300-vishe...d-benchmarked/
Stock clockspeed is 3.3GHZ and maximum Turbo Core clockspeed is 3.9GHZ for the sample which was tested, although until reviews are out we cannot say whether these are the final clockspeeds and whether Turbo Core is fully enabled too.
The CB 11.5 score is 5.73 for the FX8300 - the FX8120 which 3.1GHZ with a Turbo Core clockspeed of 4GHZ scores 5.01 to 5.04:

The FX8350 is meant to have a 4GHZ base clockspeed:

would someone like to tell the author that cpu-z release version is actually 1.61.3 from 3 weeks ago....
Maybe they're just using an older version, or have I missed the point?
Soo, first trinity I see advertised in the UK is an ultrathin at PC World.

Edit to add: Apparently you save £150 over the price they were selling it at 2 months ago
Let's be honest, the lack of Trinity systems on the UK market is worrying. Given AMD were trumpeting almost 100 design wins for Trinity, to be available during Q2 2012, it's a bit worrying that so far we can buy... 1. Trinity's been announced, launched, benchmarked, and yet it's still next to impossible to get hold of a system with a Trinity APU in it. In my book that adds up to something very wrong...
EDIT: OK, two. A6-4400, so dual core. And at £640 I reckon that's a bit overpriced personally...
I agree with scaryjim, how can Intel have plenty of Ivy Bridge laptops available while Trinity is almost impossible to find?
To be fair we are searching in a secondary market, Americans might not have the same scarcity of Trinity machines that we do.
It was the same with E350. By the time I could buy one, they had been on the market for ages and AMD were claiming millions of sales.
What would most interest me is the 17W version in a netbook, but would want more like netbook prices. Let's hope Acer do another Ferrari edition.
John Lewis have an A10 laptop just in from Samsung.
I was looking at Lenovo and the nearest they have is i5 2450 + gt630 for £50 less.

Link is for a Core i5 laptop.
This is the laptop:

It also comes with an HD7670M which probably can run in Crossfire with the HD7660G IGP.

Also, the HD7670M is rated as being slightly faster than a GT630M by Notebookcheck:

They seem to have an A8 one as well for £450.
