I expect MS are giving the download a big chunk of bandwidth of it's own, I hope at least.

I wouldn't imagine it's going to be TOO large, it's not the full game, not even the full multiplayer, more than anything, I'd say this is a PR stunt, not a beta. If it were a beta, everything would be in there, but we've been told they are keeping things back as surprises.

Fingers crossed that we can all download the client successfully. Unless anything goes badly wrong I'll set up a private lobby(if we can) and send everyone who is online at the time an invite. If you come online during the evening then just bang me a message and I'll open up the room.

If there's any problems with the downloading of the client I'll post here.

For some reason it took 6 hours for Forza demo to download so I'd expect that HAlo beta will be a nightmare.

I get confused with these time zones, it states that the client will be available at 12.00am PDT, at my reckoning that's 7am? But, according to the countdown clock on the Bungie site it looks as though it will be approximately midday GMT on the 16th.

Hmmm, think you should have had a code by now. DO you know which site it was as I have a couple of editors from the community sites on MSN so could ask if its one of those sites, otherwise I'd get a mail off to them quickly.
