My GF likes that. Seriously. It's the twisted humour that it's riddled with.

Or even worse, setup yourselves as a virtual couple and disaster strikes. Back in the days of the very first "The Sims", my missus accidently killed the virtual me in a house fire and left herself with 2 kids, who just stood there crying in the kitchen. I seriously don't think she's got over it and certainly has never played a computer game since.

Not sure if it might be too complicated, but i know that my gf and i loved playing Lego Star Wars II, which is based on the original trilogy.

yeah, you might have to used keyboard, but i bought an exbox360 pad and shes fine with that. It 2 player co-op which is loads of fun, and if shes a girly girl then its fairly 'Cute' to look at.

    Maybe check out the demo?

I'd add another vote for the Sims as a good game, if for no other reason than there's no real end to the game

As an alternative, why not get her to try something like Neopets? Might be a little cutsey for her, but some people find it relaxing.

Can't really give suggestions based off what my g.f plays though, she's hooked on City of Heroes MMORPG

Me and my o/h like to play maple europe sometimes, although its online we have 2 pc's so we can get on it at the same time and with alittle app called joy2key or something u can use a gamepad to control your character, another good one is tibia but its very addictive so avoid unless necessary..
also there are some good board/card games on yahoo and king.com u can play for free.
or download an emulator and go retro!

I would highly recommend Zuma Deluxe by Popcap Games. My Best mates wife put me onto this game, and it is incredibly addictive. Zuma Deluxe

Oh yeah, they have a free demo you can download.

If you've got a console, I agree with this suggestion. My girlfriend doesn't really like Star Wars but she found it really enjoyable, especially in 2 player co-op mode.

The controls are simple and it's impossible to die.

    These are old but awesome!

    Broken Sword 1
    Broken Sword 2
    Full Throttle
    Beneath a steal sky

My mum loves them for the same reason, very simple to play.

Sam & Max would be a perfect introduction to the point & click adventure world. Plus as its episodic you can purchase the first one only to test it out without spending much.

    Get her to try Masq:

    www(dot)alteraction(dot)com

(Apparently newbies can't post URLs here )

Get the free client downloaded, or play the first 2 scenes online.

It's kind of a soap opera in a game, or one of those "Choose your own adventure books".

Mouse clicks only and pretty replayable.

    Dan.
