    You're not a newbie though..

I tried masq - it doesn't appear to have been supported for several years now and the activation thing never worked for me.

Besides, really not a good choice for a woman to play - you play through the eyes of a bloke, and you get silly choices like 'phone the boss' or 'flirt with the new secretary' or something. Seems to just be a western version of an anime 'adult' game, pretty lame tbh.

It worked for me about a month ago. I guess the plot is a little male oriented but there's more to it than just sex and violence - and the point is you can play it in so many different ways.
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.

    Thanks for the possibilities.

Just done monkey island 3 with her, which was as good as I remembered. Started monkey 4 which is much less fun, and the controls aren't as good for her to use.

Hamsterball was fun, but she needs quite a bit more practice.

Got psychnauts, which would be a perfect game for her if it didn't need good control over lots of buttons.

Will try the discworld games if they work with scummvm.

Might try monkey 2 and original sam'n'max later.

Discworld doesn't work with ScummVM yet; they've got the legal rights to do it, but are having trouble locating the source code apparently.

Sims 2 always goes down well with my misses, but depending on your g/f's mindset, she may enjoy things like black & white ( if she enjoys maiming :] ) or something more construction orientated like sim-city-esk type games.

She's is currently addicted to Pharoah, or Ceaser III (both kind of like sim city but a little more simplistic) which gives me time to play bf2142

I do think the responses are a little stereotypical here though!! the misses used to play QIII Arena at clan level, bottom line, really depends what she's into, each to their own

Sims seems to be a popular one for the ladies.

Mine also really love Myst (all 3 of them), the graphics really appealed.

A have some female friends who like to play the Age of Empires / Age of Kings / The Conquerors series.

And, like Doug says, keep her away from WoW at all costs!
