Question Looking for a fun easy game for my girlfriend

My girlfriend needs a nice fun game to play. I got her Rayman: Raving Rabbids, which she has loved, but now completed.

Any fun games out there without too complicated controls? She is about to complete her PhD in only two years, while working full time, so she's smart. But WSAD etc is beyond her ken, so something fun but easy to play is a must.

I wondered about the new episodic Sam'n'Max maybe.

Any other ideas? Graphics are not a priority, but ease of playing is.

Depends what she's into really, but there are all those classics like Grim Fandango (in that vein, you could get Psychonauts), Theme Hospital, etc.

    Hide the sausage?

Seriously though, The Sims always seems to go over well with the fairer sex.

Point n' Click games in general are something I've always found fun; some of them can be rather challenging (in terms of puzzle solving, not difficult to play) and there's nothing hard about clicking your mouse on the thing you want to interact with.

Added bonus; most of the old school Point n' Click games are dirt cheap now and some of them have even been released as Freeware (like Flight of the Amazon Queen).

    I'd definitely recommend:
    - Broken Sword I and II (the newer ones are a bit fiddly with controls)
    - Discworld I, II and Noir
    - Toonstruck
    - Flight of the Amazon Queen
    - Monkey Island I, II and III (as with Broken Sword, the move to 3D made the controls nasty, so avoid IV)

Point 'n' click adventures like Monkey Island, Broken Sword, Sam and Max and stuff are usually liked by the ladies.

Sims as well, has a massive female following.

RPGs like Grandia and Final Fantasy.

Having said that, one of my exes was addicted to Unreal Tournament, and another loved Burnout, so don't take the stereotypes too seriously.

Women love the Sim's games, gives them the perfect oportunity to boss people about, keep an eye out tho as she'll no doubt setup herself and some bloke down the road that she fancies and try and get them together...

I was a fan of UT2K4 and C&C at uni... I never got into the Sims or other games like that as I've got a very short attention span. (but then I'm a geek... so I suppose i don't really count)

Was addicted to RollyCoosters (Rollercoaster Tycoon) at one point though... but I think that was because of the "Pincers". (the ones where you can pick people up and put them places) it appeals to my sense of humour.

Ooh, if we're going for console stuff, any bemani is good. I had one ex who was addicted to Space Channel 5 on Dreamcast.

There's a port of guitar hero for the pc too i believe...
