Re: Audio Surf - new steam game

Not resurrecting the thread or anything, but I was wondering the other day:

If Audiosurf makes slow, boring bits into "uphill" sections, right?

And fast, intense bits are downhill sections, yeah?

Does that mean a Dido tune would be a straight vertical line? With no blocks at all? Or would my computer BSOD on general principles?

Re: Audio Surf - new steam game

    Ooooh, I can try Supervixen.

I played absolutely the best track ever the other night, and now for the life of me I can't recall what it was. It may have been Head Like A Hole (Clay remix) by Nine INch Nails or Ice That Melts The Tips by Curve. Can't bl**dy remember. ARGH! May have been A Small Victory by Faith No More.

Keep meaning to try some Pavement circa "Slanted & Enchanted", but always gets distracted.

Half the fun for me, frankly, is finding the most obscure favourite songs I have, from the depths of the 90s, and seeing if any other bugger has my warped music taste. And if they do, dethroning them. Mwah ha ha ha ha ha!

Just added some of you as friends. Directhex was easy to find. Digit, finlay, tobe: did I get you correct? (not sure how to tell)

Aaaah, Deep Purple - Fireball, great track

Don't try vintage Ska tho, not good, too slow, and Bob Marley too.

Re: Audio Surf - new steam game

    Oddly enough, I'm Shooty*

Apart from directhex, I've not come across any of you on my tunes yet, that I can see

Is the friends thing not automatically reciprocal? You have to add me as well as vice versa?

Edit: New favourite song: Every Day Should Be A Holiday by the Dandy Warhols.

Though I also tried Not If You Were The last Junky On Earth, Bohemian Like You and Get Off by the same band. All very good for Audiosurf purposes.
